Hi my name is Karelia Balazs. I am 30 years old and my fiancee and I are expecting our first baby. He's due in December '09. We are really excited! I graduated from SUNY AT Albany (http://www.albany.edu/) in December of '03 and I started teaching in Albany in January of '04. From my early days as a student back in Cuba I knew that I wanted to become a teacher. I learned a lot from teaching my dolls as a kindergartener myself, they just wouldn't listen! I graduated from SUNY with my certification in Spanish education K-12. I am also highly qualified by the state of New York to teach K-12 Spanish.
Nathaniel is my Fiancee's name and he is a computer programmer. Not much overlap when it comes to topics of conversation. :) My goal as a teacher is to make learning the most enjoyable experience that a child can have. When children have fun they do not realize that they are learning. I have been called to teach, I know I change lives, and I love every second of it.
