This website, not only introduces your child to new words but it also gives you ideas/strategies so that you can both learn Spanish at home. I've been told by our kindergarteners Dora and Diego are excellent teachers. :)

Dear Parent or Guardian,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and let you know how excited I am to be working at The Ethical Community Charter School this year. I taught in Albany, NY for many years and recently moved to NYC. I am very active in the educational field and attend conferences often to stay on top of the latest teaching strategies and brain research. It is my goal to be the best teacher I could prossible be at our school. I have very high expectations for your student and myself. I also acknowledge how much parental imput can help in making the experience of my students in the classroom more enjoyable and productive. For this reason, I am always open to any ideas you would like to share with me. I want your child's foreign language experience to be enjoyable and meaningful. With that in mind, I am asking for your cooperation during this school year to ensure that your son/daughter receives the best possible instruction in my class. The more you and I cooperate and communicate, the greater the chances that your child will have a successful year.
